My daughter made these today for her boyfriend. They are very easy %26amp; very good! We freeze them before we dip them so you don't drop them.

What You Need!

These are good and easy;

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

3 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted

3 cups semisweet chocolate chips, melted

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar until well blended. Stir in melted chocolate and vanilla until no streaks remain. Refrigerate for about 1 hour. Shape into 1 inch balls. Makes 60.

*Roll truffles in ground walnuts (or any ground nuts), cocoa, coconut, confectioners' sugar, candy sprinkles, etc.

**To flavor truffles with liqueurs or other flavorings, omit vanilla. Divide truffle mixture into thirds. Add 1 tablespoon liqueur (almond, coffee, orange) to each mixture; mix well.

=============
Oreo truffles are great and I just made a batch of these 2 weeks ago for a chocolate potluck. One whole package of Oreo's (not double stuff, just regular), one block of cream cheese, and one package of vanilla almond bark. Pulse the oreos until they are crumbs/dust in a food processor. Add block of cream cheese, pulse until dough ball forms. Roll this dough into 40 little 1 inch balls. Place on cookie sheet covered in wax/parchment paper. Pop in freezer for a little while until hard. Melt almond bark in microwave. Dip balls, roll balls into melted bark. Place back on cookie sheet and refrigerate until set. Sometimes I sprinkle crushed oreos on top or chocolate sprinkles on top, just for decoration. These are decadent and this recipe makes a ton. Enjoy!
